In a random test conducted in Rajasthan on Johnson & Johnson’s baby shampoo samples has found presence of a known carcinogen, the chemical formaldehyde.

The report revealed after a few months while  authorities initiated an investigation on Johnson’s Baby Powder to see if it contains any cancer causing chemical. Johnson and Johnson’s said in late February it had resumed production of baby talc after government tests found no asbestos in the product.

Yet the percent of formaldehyde has not measured in the test, but the samples will be sent to a central laboratory for further test.
